The Fashion on the Field this year truly blew us away with new trends featured by the best and brightest.
Speaking of bright, this year raspberry red and millennial pink were favoured by many. Vibrant yellows, cobalt blues and deep greens and of course head-to-toe white were also seen trackside.
For headpieces, there was a complete turnaround from last year’s big, bold statements. A mix of luxurious turbans, sophisticated boaters and jewel-encrusted headbands were instead sported by Kate Waterhouse, Rachel Finch, Jodi Anasta and many more.
Here are our top picks for best dressed for this year’s Melbourne Cup.
We loved the simple statement this ruffled pink dream created.
The effortless coordination of turban with shoes, bag and dress.
A structured coral number with rounded black purse - beautiful.
